The first sentence says it all, “Food matters.” It truly does. While I’ve been on a slight hiatus as I was out of the country, doing food reviews and learning a little something along the way, I’ve kept my eye on the pulse of what’s going on back home. The James Beard Foundation (JBF) truly encompasses and focuses on what matters to me–exploring how food enriches our lives. But also how it can heal us, how it can educate us, and how we can learn more about our own bodies because of it. The JBF Impact Programs award those making a difference in our communities across the nation.
